XL Slide Axle

XL’s Slide Axle trailers feature a hydraulically powered axle assembly, which move the axles up enabling the trailer deck to become a ramp with a low load angle. The winch and roller system at the front combine with the easy to use ramp system to allow users to move hard-to-load equipment onto the robust deck.

Low-Incline Load Angle

  • Hydraulic sliding axles create a 6 1/2 degree load angle to load the heaviest equipment
  • Dump angle of 17 degrees is ideal for unloading containers
  • Junior I-beams on 8-inch centers
  • Available in various lengths including a CA legal spec (51′) and 9′ or 10′ wide

Load Non-Functioning Equipment

  • Hydraulic winch and rollers for loading non-functioning equipment
  • 20,000 lb hydraulic winch
  • Manual kickout with 100′ of cable
  • Energy chain protects air, electric and hydraulic lines

Greaseless Rollers

  • Recessed roller on the back of the gooseneck
  • Composite rollers do not need to be greased
  • Winch and rollers allow you to load non-functioning equipment
The XL Slide Axle helps users save time with the quick moving axle assembly. The front winch and neck roller pull up inoperable equipment while the i-beams on 8″ centers comprise an extremely strong main deck. Drop downs on the outside beams and center deck provide areas for chains to tie down. The hydraulic sliding axle assembly with traveling bumper provides under ride protection.
