Extendable trailers can extend to various lengths to accommodate different length loads, and then close back up to avoid permits when empty or for shorter loads. XL uses our patented Extend-a-trac technology to ensure a smooth extension. Extendables come with stops every two feet for many length options. Spec out the right extendable for you, choosing from a variety of gooseneck styles, capacities, closed and open deck lengths and deck heights.
Our trailers are rated in the closed position so you can know the maximum capacity. For hauling in an open position, we recommend a self-supporting two-point load with half of the concentrated load in the first five feet behind the gooseneck and the other half of the concentrated load within the last five feet of the main deck.
